I have heard several times "train in the type of terrain you're gonna' fly in" so that mean I need to train somewhere with at least some good sized hills and cool, cloudy weather (I want to fly in Canada but training costs almost twice as much there so I'd rather spend the difference in cost on extra flight time and the lisence conversion +/- $5000.) I'm looking at Hillsboro Aviation in Oregon, what do you guys think of it? Has anyone here trained there or heard about them?
