Norm Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 I was looking at the Calgary Springbank airport in the CFS today and in the coms section I see there are listed an outer tower on 118.2 and an inner tower on 120.7 . I don't recall seeing anything like that before and am just wondering how it works? Thanks Quote
matt_as350 Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Here in YYJ we have Inner and Outer Towers as well, we call up Outer tower first which gives us our arrival, then at the arrival point we switch over to inner tower which issues landing and runway instructions. Quote
pc12dude Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 If I was going there I would use the MF 118.2 I would also maybe call VFR ADV (YYC). 119.4 I bet there is someone here that really knows how to do things at Springbank. Quote

H Or if that fails, land amongst Junkman George's fleet of carcasses at the south end Quote
