Bell214 Posted September 1, 2007 Report Posted September 1, 2007 There are are two new registred lamas in canada, GAWW of Dam Helicopters and GTHT of Thunderbird Helicopters. Would like to take some pictures, but I don't know where the Thunderbirds and Dam's lamas are. What kind of work are they doing? If someone knows where the lamas are right now, please pm me. Thanks Quote
Skids Up Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Dam Helicopters were started in Nelson BC a few years ago - not sure if they are still there Quote
picapart Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 not to sure of dam helicopters having a lama . Thunderbird has had THC more many years and it has the coolest paint job i've seen . I heard a rumor he bought a second lama or was looking at one . hope he registers it LSD Quote
offset Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 I saw one neon green Lama in Dawson city last summer I think it was THC. Don't know the name of the operator but he's a one man show P/E . Trucks it from job to job I hear, keeps it imaculate must say from a distance it was pretty cherry. But the neon green was not doing it justice IMO. Quote
Guest sharky Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 GTHC last year in Fort Nelson. Quote
Helilog56 Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Western Ariel in Chilliwack has one for sure, and maybe two! Quote
Freefall Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 I think western aerial has 3 or 4. Only helicopter I've been arround where the engine totally drowns out the blades. Quote
rainman Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 I saw Dam Helicopters Lama in Castlegar in August. Was Bright Orange I think, Cool looking machine. Quote
T-rex Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Thunderbird operates out of Cranbrook, BC. Brian operates two Lama's from Cranbrook and Nelson, BC. Quote
