Over-Talk
For the expense of a cell phone kit, you should consider a sat phone installation from Sky Trac or Sky Connect. You will also get AFF compatability for forestry work in Alta or B.C., and much larger coverage area than just cell service.
Trigger
I have the Safety Cell amplified adapter and love it. Never leave home without it. I tried a different brand non-amplified type and it was much too quiet to be heard over the interior noise. I bought mine at the Calgary Pilot Supply-www.cyberpilotshop.com-for about $260 if memory serves. If you have one of the newer Motorola phones with the USB connection for recharging then you have to spend another $60 for an adapter as there is no headphone jack. All in all I am very happy with mine. The sound quality is the same as having a conversation over the ICS. This adapter will also work with MP3 players and satelite radio for those that use them.
