It was in Canada before Ventura bought it. It had crashed and Ventura was going to rebuild it but the project got too big so it was sold again and is now back in Canada with another attempt at rebuilding it. It will be a big project.

Just a guess, but it could be at Helitech Support Services in Abottsford, they have done a bunch of work on those Ventura aircraft. I should check with my buddy that works there, I will get back to you guys if I find out anything...

Correct. They have done some work on it. More to be done ......

Thank you very much for your help Jim.

Do you know this machine here? I can´t get the serial number of N214X. Bell Helicopter used this machine in 1975 in Europe for a demonstration tour. The Pilot was Mr. Bayli.

This is a Bell 214A. Couple of tips are the lack of emergency exits in the sliding doors, and the pitot tube on the roof. Bell did not produce any 214B's until 1976. This could be the 214A Transwest got their hands on and are converting to a B?
