what you don't see is the forward speed, it's been raining in that region for 2 weeks, the rivers are very high and very fast. it looks as tho she was expending alot of energy to stay afloat, while the pilot keeps pace with her, some very good flying there for sure :up: :up:

according to what's been reported on pprune, there was in fact a note left for her hubby.. which of course, explains her reluctance to be rescued...

 

i agree with all that it was some nice driving... although the angle made it look like the rotor disk was getting pretty close to the shore line.. good thing the guys on shore kept their heads down as they came out to help!!!

It is a sad day when rescue people put there lives on the line to rescue somebody who has choosen to end their own.

 

If this is true I hope all of the expenses get sent to her.

So Heilijason might've been right? She didn't want to be saved? If that's a fact, that's gotta be one of the most selfish, sad and stupid acts I've seen of late. :down: What a shame. If it's a fact, I hope it's truly a turning point for her.
