transientorque2 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 I bought the safety cell a few weeks ago and works well. The folks at the other end could hear me quit well. Its worth the money. And it doesn't look like the unit that is pictured. Its a lot nicer. It has 3 black cords coming out of a black retangular plastic box about 1" x 5". Quote
Cosmo Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 www.cellset.com/Aviationitems.html I ordered one of these a few weeks ago. Back ordered two weeks. Should be here any day now. I will let you know how it works. Apparently it has its own volume, cd or mp3 adapter. Cheers C. Quote

Rotorboy2 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Brutal. Looking at the links provided, they want around $190 US for those units for helicopters. That's outrageous. It's just wires, for cripes sake. What a rip-off. Quote
skullcap Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Just wires? Try 20,000 bucks for a radio next time. Brutal. Looking at the links provided, they want around $190 US for those units for helicopters. That's outrageous. It's just wires, for cripes sake. What a rip-off. Quote
