Wario
This came across my desk a few days ago; "The K-Flex coupling on the power shaft came into contact with the transmission isolation mount..." Any ideas what may have caused this? It wasn''t improper installation and I know it was bad enough that the coupling had to be replaced. Elvis
The only time I have ever seen that was after a hard landing. Have a talk with the last person to drive it.
DGP
An extreme off level landing could also have caused this, tail low I would think....as mentioned check with the last driver...oops!
sprocket
Wario: Some reasons for past contacts I have seen with D/S and isolation mount include; 1. Soft mount/rubber 2. Landing/taking off on a slope or angled suface incuding floating barge/ship where there is considerable movement of the deck. 3. Incurrence of negative G in flight (rare one)
