Guest Angry Egg Driver
Apparently the machine was at ground idle and for some reason the correlator engaged and the machine went to 100%.Sometimes accidents happen. From what i've heard the pilot was very experienced and very well respected in the industry. GearBox
Two accidents within a month what's up with that? I think someone should have a look at that operation before someone gets seriously hurt or even worse. Now we will all be burdened with increased insurance costs. :boff:
transientorque2
I heard from a good source that the 500 crash in Tumbler had to do with a radio delivery. While handling the radio to a guy on the ground the aircraft somehow drifted. I wonder if its the same guy. I wonder if he let go of the cyclic control to hand over the radio! There is a little switch on the collective to turn off the govenor isn't there? Thats what I did when I got out to have a pee pee. Poor poor Ian. The season is just starting too. That must be why they keep advertising for 3,000 hr pilots.
