whirlybird-man Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 In your position I would have to say, at least 250 a day and 25 dollars an hour flight pay for astar/longranger and 15 an hour for jetrangers, with accomadations paid for and say 45 dollars a day per diem, which covers your food. RTR Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 When I am in Engineering mode, for an Astar in the bush south of 60, I start at $300 / day, lodgings at cost (normally already taken care of by the customer anyway) $40 per day perdiem and negotiate the revenue flight pay. Usually ends up between $15 and $25 per hour. Depending on the hours flown and length of day the daily rate goes up. North of 60 we are going to talk. Most operators are willing to pay a decent engineer to ensure the Helicopter keeps flying. cheers, RTR Quote
