Wondering if anyone has a solution for effectively producing the RCAP.

We've got about 12 plates/aerodrome charts to print and keep around now and it's getting a bit unruly. There will be more for us in time. We're looking at as many as 40 plates or more. The cockpit is getting a bit small to hold all of the 8 1/2 X 11 laminated pages that we need. The coiled ring beast we use for the CAP would be perfect - but it would be a bear to make up each cycle.

Thoughts?

Hey sp,

We use an ASA 7-Ring Approach Plate binder. You can order from various places including Aviation World.

We use it with night plates for NVFR work that is more IFR then VFR. It's not 8.5 x 11 but about the same size as the CAP. We just pull out the ones we need at the time and stuff the binder back in it's spot. Our RCAP binder is so buried under all the other crap we don't use that we'd have to land just to get it out.
