Razorback Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 What’s considered a “day”, eight hours, ten hours, 16 hours? What is the flight pay? Is it different per type? Is the flight pay averaged or pooled? Is there flight pay minimums? 1 Quote
YHLHR Posted April 13 Author Report Posted April 13 A "day" in the hangar doing heavy maintenance is defined as 8 hours. A "day" in the field is a day away because it could vary from being on spec, to being AOG. Flight pay rates are different per type and can be averaged or unaveraged depending on the job. Minimums are standard but again vary from client to client (although the majority come with 4 hours, unaveraged mins). We do not pool flight pay amongst crew and mins, or actual revenue hours if mins are broken, they are paid out for every machine you're assigned to. If you have further questions, please reach out to hr@yhl.ca and we would be happy to answer them for you! 1 1 Quote
