JTSigurdson Posted July 23, 2025 Report Posted July 23, 2025 Greetings from Victoria, Canada. I am trying to identify an annoying helicopter(s) that flies over the city of Victoria several times per week keeping neighbours & I awake and/or waking us up. The helicopter(s) appear to fly a back and forth pattern. 2 Flights per day (but not every day) 1. ~6 to 7 am and 2. ~midnight to 2 am. Because these flights appear to be scheduled, I can't see them as medical emerg, search & rescue or surveillance. If anyone knows anything, I would be grateful if they would share what they know. My next step is a submitting a freedom of information request. Sorry, I have no photos or aircraft numbers... Thanks in advance. JTS Quote
GrayHorizons Posted July 24, 2025 Report Posted July 24, 2025 youve come to the wrong place I reckon. people arent readily going to help you find the "annoying" helicopter you wish to complain about here. but there are some flight tracking apps that could help you identify the helicopter quietly from your bed where you can probably call 911 and complain to your hearts content. 1 Quote

JTS It’s most likely an aircraft providing an important civil service, with dedicated crews working all hours of the day. Your minor inconvenience can go straight up where the sun don’t shine. Ask yourself why you’re so unhappy in your life, and think about the last time you contributed to society. -George 4 Quote
