Yeezy Posted June 19, 2025 Report Posted June 19, 2025 CBC link Sounds like the pilot did a good job getting it down and luckily some shallow water. Hopefully we will find out the cause of the engine failure soon. 2 Quote
UggaDugga Posted June 19, 2025 Report Posted June 19, 2025 Probably something similar to the last 205 engine failure, the report will say "all the switches and levers were in the correct positions so... Who knows what happened, these aircraft are not required to have a CVR or blackbox" (And TSB dusts their hands off and walks away) Meanwhile every 205 operator has a cycles-counting computer installed, it has recorded everything but somehow vanishes before the investigators toddle out to the scene! 2 Quote

Razorback Posted June 22, 2025 Report Posted June 22, 2025 “Lost power” and went into the drink. Didn’t another 205 take a belly bath like this a couple years ago? Wonder what the heck caused the forced landing this time. Quote
