What steps are required to get a job in another country?

ICAO - Is New Zealand is the only country left that will easily convert a TC AME License?

FAA - A&P course seems pretty easy to complete but sounds like you need an employer in place before it will get issued? Or is there a work visa that can be applied for first?

EASA - non-starter unless you are already a dual citizen AND you wanna become an apprentice again?

Australia - I believe it’s fairly straightforward conversion? Sit the regs and prove experience.

Middle East - lots of Canadians over there with ICAO licences. There’s a new-ish company in Saudi Arabia expanding like crazy. THC.

A&P used to be a four day conversion it’s now two weeks.  Still pretty easy, I did mine almost 15 years ago and it’s very handy.  You don’t need an employer first, or at least you didn’t used to

Pretty sure that our Canadian AME license is good in PNG as well. Requiring ICAO Type II licenses which the Canadian one meets the standards (?). Correct me if I'm wrong
