twinstar_ca Posted May 22, 2024 Report Posted May 22, 2024 I read that too... and this morning on Vertical's youtube channel, they feature Hillsboro's H145 in firefighting application. Which will it be?? Dauphin or 145.. will be interesting indeed... are not both Airbus models now?? Quote

They had a couple of B2 117’s in the 80’s, they loved the aircraft except for that horrendous lts101 of the time. I would t be surprised if they go for the 145. There’s enough in Canada now to justify buying them and supporting them. Quote
474ever Posted July 22, 2024 Report Posted July 22, 2024 Medium. How do you Canadians categorize medium helicopters? From other sources: Light<6000 lbs Intermediate ? Medium 6000-12500 Heavy > 12500 But the 139 at 15000 is considered a 14 seat "Medium" in Canada is it not? Is the 189 a "Medium" at 18300? Quote
