Bee3 Posted October 28, 2023 Report Posted October 28, 2023 Hello all, It’s time to replace the dark visor on my LH250. After recommendations. Should I stick with the standard Gallet tinted/dark/whatever it’s called visor or try the chrome gradient ones that you can get?? Thanks in advance. Quote
ironpilot Posted October 28, 2023 Report Posted October 28, 2023 I guess that would be personal preference does anybody that you work with have the gradient lense so you can just look through it and see if you like it ? Quote

That’s a good idea but I havnt come across anyone using one yet. Maybe I’ll just roll the dice and order one. Quote
Hazy Posted October 29, 2023 Report Posted October 29, 2023 I have the Gallet 250 and used to have a gradient in a gentex. Awful for winter ops, was getting glare off of the snow through the bottom of the lens. Quote

Bif Posted October 29, 2023 Report Posted October 29, 2023 Slightly off topic but does anyone use amber/yellow glasses when flying in the winter? I down sized to an LH050 with a dark visor but I'm considering finding some thin framed amber glasses to have for overcast days in the mountains 1 Quote
ironpilot Posted October 30, 2023 Report Posted October 30, 2023 I only use the Amber lense on the helmet but I’m guessing it would be similar 1 Quote

I went the other way around. I have a yellow visor in my 050, and use a pair of thin framed Sunny’s when I need them. 1 Quote
