Helicopter Down in Alberta

My condolances to the pilots family and friends. But frankly, I am suprised this is the first one this year. The new FRMS rules are ridiculous for the extreme flying conditions that are occuring this year. There is no way that this type of flying is less fatiguing than a 703 flight that is planned and predictable.

You don’t know this driver,  he was absolutely excellent driver, always had excellent airmanship, and safe. He was an absolute pleasure to work along side and to be in the circuit with. Honestly if this industry had more pilots just like him, we would all be better off.  Knowing him,  fatigue didn’t have anything to do with it.   Sure am thinking of all of you at Valhalla, I don’t really know what to say, very tragic.
