Puddle Jumper Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Is this on multi-engine aircraft or on singles as well. Quote
sharkbait Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Haven't seen the AD yet - does this include C-28s, C-30s? How is it we fly the darned things for 40 years and suddenly they need an explosion ring? Why if the previous product was defective don't they have to fix it as in the recall on a car??? Don't bother to respond I know the answer - still PO's me however! Quote
407 Driver Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 This is similar to 2002-14-26 on Turbomecas ! FAA 2002-14-26 Quote
amodao Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 This modification is made up of 3 CEB's and they have been around for over a year. Machining/rework and a replacement 1st stage housing is required. Straight C20 turbines need another CEB completed and they become a C20B turbine. Add another $15-20K to a C20B 4-wheel overhaul and $35-40K for a straight C20 4-wheel overhaul. :hide: Quote
vortex Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 Well they finally did it. They've been threatening this for the last couple of years. This may discourage the $650.00 hr. Jet Ranger operations. Quote
Ryan Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 If so then BC's economy might finally pass that of Alberta. Quote
