(which is updated daily throughout the season) will show you EXACTLY where the current action really is (provided you're familiar with their legal land descriptions).

My dad called my house befor I left for school today, He took a 212 off its skids, then put it down on high gear with a belly-tank in westbank at alpine, he also scored me a hat :up: He also said it was marked with some forestry companies name on the side

That 212 you are referring to is headed south of the border.

It isnt just on high gear, its sitting on the highest gear I have ever seen in my life.

when I stand beside it the floor is at my neck.

Its so high I think you need a seperate endorsement on it, Dam.

I still have a few weeks off to try and make my lawn grow, I'll try and make it over.

As for the high gear 212, I didnt notice what was on the side, my guess is yes it is a Kachina ship.

####, I never didnt get to even stand beside a frontier 205, but from a distance they did look high, I was a 100hr wander when I first saw one from the other side of the fence wishing I could fly one.

They are probably the same type of gear.

I got some pics, I will try and post them, when its up on the skids the fuselage is say almost 4 i would even go as far as to say 5 feet off the ground, keep in mind it was in line to have a belly tank put on

The aircraft at Alpine is being configured for the USFS helitack machine out of Ramona, California. Just to the east of San Diego. Its one of the Kachina Aviation lease machines.

Hey Don if I land my OLD 204B at Golden can I come over for a Cold One? I am in Ft McMurray sitting right now but did go a couple of small fires. You have to beat the Ducks there because if they beat you, you sit and watch the air show. Well buddy I am going look at some more pics of my brand new Grandson. Wish I was in OZ to hold him but in November he will be here and I will not put the little guy down and I will even change poooooop pants just to beable to have him home for a month.

You'd beter come on over next time you pass through. I invited you and that 204 over last time, but you were already set up way over in the grass.

Lots of moisture down this way now, so no burns, fires or much happening here anymore.
