Rotorhead Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 Somedays I miss the salmon rod tucked under the back seat of the Astar. What do you consider more important? It would be great to have the best of everything, wouldn't it? How does your current job rate compared to jobs of the past? RH
otas Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 I'll trade ya rotorhead...but I don't think you'll use the salmon rod too often.
ray Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 I really enjoy what I do, and the pay is good. I guess I do have the best of both worlds.
Elvis Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 Anybody who dislikes this work and are in it for the money should be looking for a new career tomorrow. :elvis: :elvis:
Reddog Posted May 1, 2005 Report Posted May 1, 2005 You shouldn't have to choose. Career and lifestyle should not be mutually exclusive. If you love your job and your employer is paying you what your qualifications are worth and not abusing you schedule-wise, then you have both.

An employer who provides a good lifestyle shouldn't use that to justify pay. He just looks petty when doing it or being seen to do it!
maxtorc Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 the choices are to vague! I contemplate this question daily!!!!!!!
Guest bag swinnger Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 (Lifestyle) This is precisley why I got into helicopters to begin with. It took about seven years to finally make annually what I Made before I was a pilot. Now I am pretty much a helicopter addict and cant wait to wake up and get in to the hangar. I wonder if there is some sort of twelve step program for people like me.
Cole Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 12 step program, hmm if there is dont tell my parents, I would be there so fast Cole
Rotorhead Posted May 4, 2005 Author Report Posted May 4, 2005 the choices are to vague! I contemplate this question daily!!!!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I've set it up now, if I could change it, maybe I would. What choices would you add, Maxtorc? RH
