Was up at 03:30 on Sunday morning and turned the telly on. Right there talking away was Rotorhead!

Overall, I have to state the section on helicopters was very well presented, and of course, Rotorhead was most professional!

Having stated that, there are of course a couple of major points I'd really like him to clearify for me, if possible!

A) The initial clip showed the start sequence of the S61, with Rotorhead being Captain and the younger looking guy (well he did have a full head of hair) being the FO, doing the pax safety briefing. However, Rotorhead was sitting in the FO seat on take-off!!

B) Take off and flight sequences were the standard routine, however, Rotorhead some how magically made the S61 appearance identical to the Super Puma landing on the rig! Neat trick!!

C) And this is the most curious! How in the name of all things holy did you get that shirt so white?? And those pants, man what a purdy picture!! :P

At this point, not really knowing otherwise, I'm gonna have to go with the position that he's married, cuz no single guy could get a shirt to come that clean. ;) Further more, his Missus has to be either a teacher or a very edgeamacated lady, cuz no real pilot cain talk that gooder without being coached!! :D

Overall though, I'd have to say good job Boo! Nice work and very well presented! Oh, a couple of quick questions: 1) How much of the sheen reducer did they use to cut down the light glare, and; 2) the engineer that pushed the machine out was kinda on the bulky side, His initials wouldn't be D.W would it??

I'assuming those shots were taken before you guys moved into the new hangar as well. The hangar in those shots sure looks like they belonged to PAL.

Good show R.H.

Well done!

I am actually the younger fellow with less hair. that was filmed over four years ago when I was an F/O

That was the only offshore footage given by the PR folks at head office at the time. That day, we could not get the both aircraft offshore to film the 61. At the base, we had nothing showing the S61 as she belongs in a museum :D

Actually, any respectable 61 pilot (not claiming that I am one) has a big grease stain on their back right shoulder from doing the daily inspection, crawling under one of the M/R blades.

She is a teacher and a very edumacated lady, puts me to shame. She is an excellent mom and that is her main task for the next few years. Having come from a family that had maids, she can't clean or iron a shirt to save her life, so that is my job. You can thank the Air Cadet League of Canada for that.

About two gallons

No, it was J.B.

Yeah that was the old hanger where we had no problems paying the hydro bill, should have stayed there as the doors were bigger then.

Good show R.H.

Thanks, Bladestrike set up the shoot, but he got stuck on a rig all day. My boss stood me in front of the camera and told me to talk. Everyone else hopes that I shut up. I think that when I die, they'll have to beat my mouth to death with a big stick. :D

Bullet or RH, are you going to tell us the NAME of the program that was on Discovery Channel? Enquiring minds want to know.  :)

It is an old episode of Aerospace on the discovery or the Space Channel. Just a few minutes of some fat, bald guy crawling over a pretty Sea King. :D

I think that rolling jet fuel drums around would shed a few pounds off of me. Anyone looking for a drum rolling 206 or 350 driver?

I think they usually sew it shut before the wake... :P
