shaggy
Q: Would TSB know the cause in such a short period of time? A: No Sad news indeed. Condolences to the families in what should be a happy time of year...
Blackmac
Unless they are waiting to notify the next of kin, they already know. Anything else???
shaggy
The names were in the CBC’s article two days ago. They did not publish a cause. You seem ready to assign blame saying somebody “GOOFED”. Perhaps you should let TSB in on what you know

sven
There will be a media briefing tomorrow. http://www.bst-tsb.gc.ca/eng/medias-media/avis-advisory/aviation/2017/a17o0264-20171220.asp Out of respect to the deceased and their families, let's keep this civil. The families are devastated and any mud slinging will not bring these 4 people back. Fly safe.

Anything else??? Yes someone probably made a mistake. We all make mistakes, we are human. Maybe consider that the mistake was made by one of the deceased. Having that information public while the family and friends are still mourning would serve no practical purpose. My condolences to all involved. Sirjohna
Just has been reported that an unsecured tool bag took out the tail rotor. Also, two workers had not done the seat belt thing. Check list, check list, check list, check list!
