CHOPPERMIKE68
I AGREE WITH YOU HBG I WASNT A 100 DRIVER WHEN I WAS THERE BUT WHEN I WAS HIS SON WAS BUTTERING ME UP WITH PROMISES OF A MEDIUM ENDORSEMENT WHEN A YOUNG PILOT CAME IN & HE YELLED OUT THE EXACT WORDS & THE POOR GUY WAS CAUGHT OFF GUARD(SO WAS I) WHICH MADE ME NOT CALL BACK(FATHER LIKE SON)THANKS FOR THE WARNING PAUL..HA HAFONT=Arial] Delta - Was through there some ten years ago when I was a 100hr wonder, I was treated with such disrespect and rudeness after not being through the door for more than two minutes. The individual more or less said " that if your a 100hr wonder, get the f*%# out!" Just wanted to drop a resume' off and instead I left saying to myself I would never work for that company nor have I. I am sure not everyone there is like that but they employed a person like that, so.......... Enough rant. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

twinstar_ca
that's part of the problem, CK... this forum is far more than just a "gossip" forum.. there is far more usefull info passed and shared here and the friendship and camraderie is well evident... i, as well as most others i would say, don't want this to get down to the mudslinging again that we all worked so hard to get rid of... Buster Burns
Right on the nose Krusty, the grass is always greener until you're ankle deep in a patty. There isn't one company on the planet that is politic free and hasn't had some former employee talk smack about them. When you're fed up with a company is it the company or the industry? Bizzo
Back to the original topic....old bull do yourself a favor and stay away from mustang. I could give you many reasons why, but with out going into specific lets just say they're incredibly high employee turnover rate speaks for itself. as for the other companies you mentioned it sounds like your on the right track, it all depends what type of work your after and where you want to work. great slave is fantatstic if you can tough out the exams when you first start, theres a ton of them! good luck! Sisyphus
The helicopter establishment worked very hard to squash the efforts to build HEPAC. They are doing the same thing to the EMS pilots of CHC who are trying to organize. Had HEPAC succeeded, there might not be this continuous battle being waged between the pilots and engineers on the one hand and the operators on the other. Perhaps the establishment has only itself to blame for the ‘mudslinging’, which may be occuring in some other forum if HEPAC existed. It is however, wrong to denigrate seriously offered and heart felt opinions (or likely in many cases, fact) as mudslinging. Amongst them are legitimate concerns to which the establishment, TC and the helicopter-using public should carefully listen. Anyone who thinks that the operators do not discuss amongst themselves the merits and shortcomings of pilots and engineers is naive. The very fact that operators, in the act of seeking references, will inquire of other operators as to the personality and work habits of prospective employees attests to this reality. And what do these references become once they are transmitted? The receiver can only say, ‘Well, I heard that ........’ . That makes it hearsay. It shouldn’t come as any surprise to operators that pilots and engineers also have some references to provide. How does it feel to have the shoe on the other foot? As has been frequently suggested, if you don’t like it, find another line of work. Apparently, McDonalds is hiring. In spite of the socialist vision that some of us have for Earth, capitalism persists. Capitalism is war. That is the system that business supports and promotes. Capitalists don’t fight over ideals or human rights, They fight like dogs over the lowest man’s common denominator. Money. Amongst the alpha males and the control freaks there are many sensitive pacifists. But they will take the insults to authority, the impositions on family life, the inhumane schedules, the poor wages for only so long. Eventually the meek rise up. Watch out.
