Police say they have that man's name, but suspect someone else was piloting the aircraft and left before the authorities arrived. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/national/20...rash050307.html Things that makes you go hhhuuummmmm Quote
treetopflyer Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Judging from the colors of the JetRanger and the fact that it is in the lower mainland makes me wonder if the helicopter was or is currently operated by United Helicopters. I worked along side one of their machines on the 2003 fires. The driver was high time and top notch and I can't imagine him being at the controls or involved in this incident. According to TC they currently operate one JetRanger marked FFVI. My thoughts are with the family of the victim. ttf Quote

mtnhopper Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 I know the owner of the aircraft and it was leased to some operators down on the coast,And the astar (American Registation) makes ya wonder what the ol jetbox was being used for, However my fellings are with the girls family and friends very sad Quote
Sexual Chocolate Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Nobody has said it so I will. Does it have anything to do with BC Home Grown. It wouldn't be the first time helicopters have been used then abandoned by the pilots/crew. Leaving the rest of us to WTF??? I am deeply saddend by the news of the tragic death of the young lady. My thoughs are with her family. Quote
