For external loads, going with a standard B3, single hydraulic, will get you the best performance. Stay away from the "e" until they have sorted out the problem with the new T/R design.

Any current operators have an update on the tail rotor or any other issues? How has it affected your operation? We have 4 x B3e's on order with delivery starting in 2014, I'm hoping any issues are resolved by then!

From what I understand, Eurocopter is working on a temporary fix (yaw anticipator) so that VNE returns to "normal"

this temporary solution will give Eurocopter time to introduce a permanent solution that might encompass a new TR.
