GoldMember Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 She's for sure a no-go at YZY today, 1/4 mile (at best) in moderate to heavy snow. We've already had 20 cm in the last 12 hours and it's not letting up at all, and the temp is a balmy -18 C. Any other observations from accross the country? OK, so I'm bored. Quote
407 Driver Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Southern Rockies... Clear, Sunny -14 C, but supposed to go downhill in the PM. Only 2-4 Cm snow expected. Quote

cap Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Gold Member ------thanks for the weather forecast for me in the 'Peg. You are getting what we're supposed to be getting. How's your wind speeds on the ground? We got lots of sun and about -16 with nil wind. We're supposed to get 5-10cms of snow starting early morning, temps dropping big time and winds peaking at about 50-60KPH. I don't know where a person goes for great weather anymore in Canada. When they get dumped on like they just did on Salt Spring Island then you know that the weather Gods are ugly for some reason. Guess the only people smiling are ski lodge owners. Quote
