G'day guys

 

I'm new to this group, as UI have only just found it.

Im a fire fighter with Headquarters brigade Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. We are the Air Support brigade for the district.......I felt a need to explain why I joined..

Rotary wing -------welcome aboard and if you take yourself too seriously and/or don't have a sense of humour, please stay away.....and no braggin' about Foster's either because some of us don't need to be convinced. :lol::lol:

kjw 57 -------I think you better read that more carefully for 'hidden meanings'. :lol::lol: Many 'moons ago' I had many 'fishing holes' , but find it very difficult to push a rope these days, so I'm thinking of giving it up. :lol::lol::lol:

Cap, my esteemed uncle, please help me here, for once again I am a small confused primate.

How can an average be a range of measurement ???

Doesn't this mean the average is, in fact, 5 3/4" ????

 

Lately I don't know whether I'm coming, going, turning left or right. Please help.
