rocksteady Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/...t-identity.html The names have now been released. From the pictures on CBC earlier today of the crash site, I highly doubt that they suffered. At least one good thing occurred. ONce again, condolences to the families.... RIP, may all your future missions be succesful and turbulent free. You will be missed, not only by your family but the Air Tanker and Fire Fighting family. Quote
Over-Talk Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 You doubt they suffered........????? HUH ??? These pilots fought their plane all the way to the ground, fully aware of the probable outcome. They lost their lives, and their families. Their families lost them. And you say this is a good thing ???? Quote

Everytime you see an aircraft hauling down a mountain heading for the VNE and pulling up it is breath taking to see. I hold a lot of respect for these guys, RIP. You can only hope they died doing somthing they love. Quote
