Well, so far I've done a road trip thru both Alberta and BC. I haven't gotten anything solid yet, but 3 potential prospects here in BC. Even those who said NO outright were nice about it...no doors slammed in my face. :up:

 

On the plus side a guy who finished training just after I did did get hired as ground crew, so we rookies are getting work which is nice to know. Also shows it's all about the old "Right place-Right time" as he was hired 2 weeks after I'd been thru the same place.

 

And I just realized I never said who the new instructor is. He's Marty Charbonneau, a former CP from AES. He also does contract flying during the summer and is a great instructor as well. :up:

What I thought a door slammed on you was a good thing, its when you get the boot in the as* as well, that its bad. :up:

Ryan, just read through your post's on this topic and man are they great!!!!

couldn't find which school it is you did your training with. could you let me know?

....blind....

Im pretty sure he went to coast helicopter college in Sydney at the Victoria Airport.

Well I'll be damned, Bob finally got a website for the school. Yeah that's the place Sarah. That reminds me, I should stop by and give his newer R-22 a buzz around the patch. ;)
