bobbymak Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Just came across a couple interesting photos of a helicopter crash in Afghanistan this morning. Looks like dynamic rollover but it is hard to say: Captured Collection: David Guttenfelder in Afghanistan Quote
rainman Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 I hope everyone is okay but...Wow, is that first photo ever a great photo! Kind of a National Geographic style picture. Also, if dynamic rollover, what might they have hooked the wheel on? looks pretty barren Quote
Outwest Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 The second picture reminds me of an old adage "what steps do you take in case of fire?......LARGE ONES!!" Hope all got out OK Quote
Rotorboy2 Posted May 11, 2010 Report Posted May 11, 2010 Wow, very powerful first photograph. Hope everyone was okay. Quote
TREE Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Afghan people run away as an Afghan military helicopter crashes in the Panjshir Valley after a memorial ceremony marking the 4th anniversary of rebel commander Ahmad Shah Masood Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005. Two passengers were injured, but no one was killed, in the helicopter which was carrying military and government officials from the memorial events.
