pilot5 Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 Hey fellas Anybody got a Maintenance tracking excel spread sheet format or suggestions for easy to use program that doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Thanks in advance P5 Quote
Over-Talk Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 "doesn't cost an arm and a leg...." With respect, if you go cheap on something like maintenance tracking you will lose more than an arm and a leg. Considering what is at stake, plus the cost of the parts involved, and the fact that with SMS you will be doing your own auditing, please spend some money on a serious program like CALM. Quote

InspectorGadget Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 What? It's not what he asked. What the #### guys. He asked what a cheap and easy tracking system is. Say CALM. Say a spreadsheet. For all you know he is running one R22 and all he needs is a spreadsheet. Take a pill folks and for those of you who have a zillion posts doesn't make you king #### of turd island. Quote
wcobra Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 I'm a fan of the Aerochex program put out by Airworthiness Resources. I find it easy to use and practical for small to medium size companies. As far as cost goes, I think it's only a hand from the wrist down, rather than the whole arm and leg thing ...they charge per aircraft per month, rather than a whole bunch up front and then a whole bunch more for each template, etc., etc. Also tracks training, QA, etc. All in all not a bad package for what they charge. Google them for contact info. And no, I am not employed by Airworthiness Resources, but may ask for a commission for this Quote
