As for your stement of the 20 lb sledge. That kind of discounts your credibility FREDDIE. The normal sledge is 5 lbs. I have seen a 10 lb sledge and they're a bugger to swing! A 20 lb sledge? FREDDIE Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Posted March 25, 2010 Yup 20 Lb Sledge Think high lead logging, big yellow equipment I have spent plenty of time pounding track pins with big hammers.(Also the ladies prefer a large hammer) but you engineer types can stick with your small hammers if you like.
