3rd Annaul Minnesota Vr Fly-in/drive-in

I'm posting this for our Canadian Bretheren that may have an oppertunity to join us this year.

 

Good day fellow rotorheads. It’s that time of year again, Time to gather and meet old friends and make new ones.

 

The 3rd annual event will be held at the Bemidji Airport (KBJI)

 

Our meet will be on Saturday Feb. 27th

 

The schedule for the meeting will be as follows

 

Arrival and meet & greet will be from 9AM to 11AM

Lunch will be from 11AM to 1PM

And an open forum from 1PM to final departure.

 

This year’s effort to recruit more people to join us is being expanded to several different groups/web sites to spread the word even farther than before.

 

If you plan on attending please RSVP back to me so I can maintain a head count for our lunch.

 

I have tentatively chosen Applebee’s restaurant for our lunch locale this year, BUT I’m working with the Airport Manager for other arrangements, I will supply further information as soon as we nail down the details.

 

The Bemidji Super 8 motel has extended a group rate discount of $65/night for rooms that have 1 queen size bed OR 2 double size beds for the people attending this fly-in

 

There are only a couple of rooms available for Friday the 26th but there sounds like plenty of rooms will be avail for Saturday the 27th, perfect for those who would like to spend the night and fly/drive out on Sunday.

 

If you would like to reserve a room, please contact the general manager (see info below) and inform him that you are part of the “Helicopter Fly-in group”
