Bacon Inbound Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 One time when I was flying, I got this really bad itch on the bottom of my foot. Man it was itchy. Anyone ever get that? It's especially frustrating because I was wearing leather boots and they're hard to scratch through. Thankfully, it went away. Quote
Dewey Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 I once thought I knew a guy, who said he had a friend who was a pilot that had a close call many years ago! Quote
Blackmac Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 L3driver: What you actually gained was experience, not to do that again. Nobody could have advised you not to do that, you had to find out for yourself. Stages of experience: 300 hours (teenager), I know everything. 600 hours, God I'm good. 1000 hours, wondering how I made it this FAR. No amount of advise can save you from arse tighting happenings, do it once, learn from it (if your still alive), don't do it again and chalk it up to experience. To gain experience, right or wrong, you have to live it. The main thing is to stay alive. Cheers, Don Quote
212wrench Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 You forgot 3000 hours (old guy), I know everything!! Quote
DGP Posted January 28, 2010 Report Posted January 28, 2010 I'll ask a few of my buddies with over 20,000 hrs if they have any good stories as blackmac said....learn from your mistakes....whats the old saying that you don't want to hear....hey watch this!!! Quote
