Vast Posted September 24, 2009 Report Posted September 24, 2009 With all the protectionism in the US these days , the American Military would have a difficult time hiring a company named Canadian Helicopters Canadian is working in Afganistan working with the Americans still. R22Captain Posted September 25, 2009 Report Posted September 25, 2009 HTS partnered with Great Slave got it. huh? really? or was that a joke that I didn't get? Quote
Ottorot8 Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 I was under the impression that HTS doesn't have an IFR O/C!! How can the bid on a contract that requires one?? Unless someone has any info stating otherwise!! Quote
Freefall Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Maybe has something to do with Great Slave looking for a Cheif pilot of IFR operations several months back. Quote
Auto Relight Posted September 27, 2009 Author Report Posted September 27, 2009 I hear Great Slave will be receiving their first IFR ship very soon, a friend work's there and said they exchanged it for a B4 with someone overseas, but that was supposed to be for a Polar Shelf thing, I don't know any of the details though, so may have the contracts mixed up. I can't see GSH doing the Dew Line alone though, nobody there has any real IFR/Night VFR experience. AR Quote
