Hello-bird Posted July 23, 2009 Report Posted July 23, 2009 Helicopter crash near Creston Pilot has not been found Erin Loxam | Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 9:48 pm CRESTON (NEWS1130) - An area of swamps and dense brush near Creston is being scoured by search and rescue crews after a helicopter went down this afternoon. The 35-year-old pilot from Kelowna has not been found. RCMP were informed by a flight school just after 4:00 p.m. one of their students had not arrived as expected and soon afterwards a witness reported a possible helicopter crash in the Kootenay River, between Kootenay and Duck Lake.
