Rotorhead Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I have heard rumblings lately that Coulson is setting up a scheduled service between Victoria and Vancouver with a snazzed up S61, starting this fall. A recent job posting by them requests current IFR rated drivers. RH Quote
cyclic monkey Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 I heard a rumour that they were looking for IFR pilots because they were losing too much logging time in bad coastal weather, and had a new plan. As you know, in the past they had set up big spotlights for night-logging.........now they will be setting up an NDB beacon in the log dump and GPS transceivers on the riggers, therefore allowing full Cat 3 approaches 24 hours a day. Any pilots that recently left Cougar interested ?? Beat that rumour. Quote
