chopperdr
nomex: glad we could help out, excuse the delay just spent the week in grand prairie, a most busy place these days, 11 aircraft to deliver this month alone. also fyi, posted another of daves trouble shooting guides on the AME forum concerning balancing the short shaft, that one should help as well. dr

chopperdr
hola from sunny san diego, must agree dave is about as knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to astars. where are you located, and do you have other types within your fleet. if you ever need any flir or nightsun mounts just say the word, as that is our specialty dr
leggo
Only start problem on an Astar I ever had (only 350 hrs on type) was due to an electrical fault in the master box. It was slow to accelerate throughout its start range. Your engineers probably checked this already, but how high does the Ng top out on "crank" without introducing fuel? Nomex
Leggo, don't have an answer on that one - I've rotated out while they were still troubleshooting - will see what the latest is. chopperdr, unfortunately no need for the nightsun, I stick to the daylight, but thanks anyway. Check your pm's.
