Another of the grand old, true gentlemen passes. I'll raise a glass of port to you, Bill. You were a smooth pilot, but an even smoother salesman, and I know the ladies thought you were tops.

 

It was always a pleasure to share stories, but especially about the dear old S51.

The lady in the picture with Bill is his wife. I can't remember her name, but she was the librarian at the school I attended near where they lived in Ottawa. Bill's book "flying the Rotors" is a great read.
