06HeliMAN Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 Alright I've gotten into this game where every time I hear an aircraft flying by I try to identify it by the way it sounds and then take a look to see if I'm correct. I've become fairly accurate at guessing now, but I had one trip me up yesterday. I heard it a few minutes before it came into sight and this one fit nothing I had ever heard. Turned out to be a Mi24 Hind. What a sight! This helicopter was low, big, fast, and camouflage. It looked mean. Did not know any of them were around in the US. Quote

EC-130 Posted April 14, 2009 Report Posted April 14, 2009 I looked up Mi-24's in the N-Number lookup section at faa.gov and look what I found: http://www.vscglobal.com/ Check out their mission statement, it's pretty interesting, IMO. Quote
