Hughesy Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 It wasn't texting I agree with T Tail, texting didn't cause that accident. Quote
Ned@HeliOps Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 I knew Morgie and yes he had been texting not long before but you will find there is much more to this accident. They will be recovering the engine from the 22 soon from the bottom of Lake Wanaka. Quote

My comment was that the texting wasn't the cause, something more major was a part of it. Quote

Ned@HeliOps Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 Mark, Dont sweat it, the problem with main stream media is that they never give you the real facts, they will give assertions, assumptions, ideas and "their version of the facts" but in reality this usually never has any sort of remote link to the real truth of what happened. Guest SidewallPuncture Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 texting was only raised because thats the buzz word in the auto world right now. They are two totally different animals of course. Texting in downtown TO during rush hour = bad....texting on the highway south of Peave River at 2pm = zero zip zilch unless farmer john runs his john deere down the driveway in third gear without looking for traffic. Same goes for helicopters and planes...there is a point when you should be paying attention to more important things. Quote
