I guess with the lumber industry seeing the effects of the "down turn in the economy" a few people will be seeing pink slips there also. I think it's called the DOMINO effect.

Is not Heli 4 owned by an American company called "Columbia".

Anyhow it is sad for everybody.

What is sad is that there is usually a family behind every job lost, and so close to xmas too! Lets hope this is only a rumor!

Another rumor is that the Flames are going to win the cup this year!

Actually, there is no 4 in the name at all and yes things did slow down but the ships are still in the air. The lumber industry is a tough racket to be involved in these days, but we've got through tough times before and we'll do it again.

Another baseless, unsubstantiated, useless, rumour. Why do we even respond to posts like this? Let them have their 15minutes and let it die. When it happens, it happens. Is it a sad state of affairs? Of course. Can any of us do anything about it? No.

ru,mor   /rum-r/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [roo-mer]

–noun 1. a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts: a rumor of war.

2. gossip; hearsay: Don't listen to rumor.

3. Archaic. a continuous, confused noise; clamor; din.

I find the last one most relevent to this thread.
