porter Posted June 14, 2008 Report Posted June 14, 2008 Does anyone have any experience with using his/her RRSP (Lifelong Learning Plan) towards some kind of helicopter training? The Canada Revenue Agency site says that the education must be gained “…at a designated educational institution and in a qualifying educational program.” - Is there any flight school that’s qualified as a designated institute? Also, the program has to “last three consecutive months or more” but I’m interested in getting myself an instrument rating, so I don’t think it would take that long. Any info is much appreciated. rotorheadrob Posted June 28, 2008 Report Posted June 28, 2008 registration with rev can is all that is needed, that is a federal program not provincial so pctia is not involved. Any school that can give recites for tax purposes can help you out. rob Quote
