Was very, very sad to hear this news this evening. Godspeed home, Elvis/John! I hope you’re wrenching and serving up an endless supply of Joke du Jours on the other side. Godspeed, Sir! ❤️

Was so shocked and saddened to hear of Bob Kellie's passing on Monday. He was such a nice, caring, encouraging, supportive man with a great sense of humor and a deep love for the helicopter industry. Another white-hat guy who touched many lives, perhaps without always knowing it! My sincere sympathies to his family, friends and co-workers at Erickson (sure hope I spelled that right). Though a mere and mighty machine, I have no doubt Lucille wept. RIP, Bob. H56 forever!

Mad props...er, rotors...to a gentleman who took the time to scan an article that Roy was in from the November 1977 issue of Canadian Aviation magazine! Such a pleasant surprise, and an awesome addition to my Roy scrapbook! This place, and its inhabitants (like 47B3, for example), still rock!
