  1. Was very, very sad to hear this news this evening. Godspeed home, Elvis/John! I hope you’re wrenching and serving up an endless supply of Joke du Jours on the other side. Godspeed, Sir! ❤️
  2. Was so shocked and saddened to hear of Bob Kellie's passing on Monday. He was such a nice, caring, encouraging, supportive man with a great sense of humor and a deep love for the helicopter industry. Another white-hat guy who touched many lives, perhaps without always knowing it! My sincere sympathies to his family, friends and co-workers at Erickson (sure hope I spelled that right). Though a mere and mighty machine, I have no doubt Lucille wept. RIP, Bob. H56 forever!
  3. Pillage it and hide it. As much as he brags about his "bag of magic tricks" at Tribal Council, you'd think someone/anyone would suspect him of having an idol of some kind by now. Dummies.
  4. God bless 'em, one and all. Never forget. Because we musn't. Because we can't.
  5. Congrats Twinnie and the new Missus Twinnie! Cheers!
  6. So glad he was found so soon. My sincere condolences to family, friends and co-workers. Godspeed home and healing, one and all...
  7. Gah! So hard for the pilot's family and friends and co-workers...the not knowing. Strength, hope, courage, peace for all concerned.
  8. I hope it's found for you! Folks here are just so great about helping with stuff like this. So much collective knowledge and memory to share. Nice!
  9. Thanks, Sk-U! Older, wiser (I think/hope)! Hope you are well and stay safe up there!
  10. "She's (Abi) a soul suck!" - Malcolm Bwahahahaha!
  11. Awww, thank you, T! I hope all is well with you! I sure miss the open chats between yourself and all the old(er) hands! I was reminded of such great exchanges while reading about Mr. Schultz; sure am sorry for the industry's loss. Condolences to all who knew him; you will fondly remember him. Take care, Sir!
  12. Yikes! These things get harder and harder to keep track of! Thank you!
  13. Mad props...er, rotors...to a gentleman who took the time to scan an article that Roy was in from the November 1977 issue of Canadian Aviation magazine! Such a pleasant surprise, and an awesome addition to my Roy scrapbook! This place, and its inhabitants (like 47B3, for example), still rock!
