Keith Oldham passed away on February 1/20 after a brief battle with cancer. Keith had a career as an AME that spanned five decades, with Atlantic Helicopters, Trans Quebec Helicopters, Innotech Aviation in Montreal, Hydro One & finally, Airbus (Eurocopter) in Fort Erie Ontario. I was just a young apprentice AME at Dominion Heli in the early 70s when we got DZE from PHI. Had to clean up a lot of salt damage before we put it to work.

Also spent time working with Al in Sept Iles, also along with Elvis. RIP Al.

Life Story for Michael M. McKenzie McKENZIE, Michael - Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 1, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 63. Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 36 years, Brenda. Proud and loving father of Shannon (Josh) Stronks. He was recently blessed by the arrival of his precious granddaughter Kenzie Stronks. Cherished brother of Terry (Linda) McKenzie and brother-in-law of Cathy (Karl) Dunnett and David (late Carolyn) Weaver. He was a special uncle to his nieces and nephews. Loved nephew of Carol and Frank Naisbitt and George (late Barb) McIntee. He was predeceased by his parents Marilyn and Murray McKenzie. Michael enjoyed a career as a helicopter pilot for over 35 years. He really enjoyed spending time with all of his many friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michelle from Paramed and Rafael from Saint Elizabeth for their extraordinary care over the past couple of years. Just a note to let everybody know that Wes Hopper passed away on Sept.27/17. He was an AME with Dominion, Dom-Peg , & eventually moved on to Ontario Hydro ,where he retired from as the Chief Engineer in 2000.As one co-woker put it so aptly yesterday, Wes, the gentle giant. RIP my friend.

Check with Hydro One at Lake Simcoe Regional Airport.I remember putting those in in 2 Astars, sn 2589 & 2568 I believe.The one in 2589 may have been replaced after it was rebuilt.I'm no longer with the firm's I don't have access to the STC.

Yes, hooks on the 130B4, on the 130T2,no.Not yet anyway.The new fuel bladder is housed in an metal "box" so to speak and is designed to come out of the box via the bottom on a hard landing.

Interesting to see that the "official" AHC press release says that besides sight seeing, the a/c will be used for external loads .Unfortunately with the redesign of the fuel system, you cannot install a hook on this a/c.It was probably designed for the tourist trade, i.e, Grand Canyon /Papillion, Blue Hawaii etc.
