  1. Well I certainly enjoyed reading all the posts about PT’s sleazy behaviour. Reminds me of another owner/operator in the same area across the pond. MG is a liar, a cheat and a thief and an embarrassment to the industry. He’s so cheap it’s pathetic. All he does is think about himself and how much money he can fill his pockets with off the backs of his employees and his junk equipment. Anyone who stiffs his pilots for their earned wages with lies, deceit and manipulation is a low life scumbag. Stay away from that cess pool. I totally agree with Sirlandsalot outing this sleazy prick. It needs to happen more often.
  2. After 36 years in the industry I can easily give you a list of operators to stay away from. 😊

  4. Are Heli pilots in B.C. considered essential workers and eligible for the early vaccinations program?

  6. I had the ablation procedure done ten years ago. No problems since. I had an asymptomatic Afib, so the CAME would refuse to sign off if my ticker was jumping around during my medical exam. I had to jump through the hoops to pinpoint the problem, which fortunately was not serious, then was given three choices: do nothing, treat with medication, or have the ablation. I didn’t want to have to deal with the issue during every TC medical so I had the ablation procedure done, which completely solved the problem. On blood thinners for 90 days. No flying for 30 days. No issues since, so it was the right choice for me. You should know that in a fairly high percentage of cases, the ablation procedure isn’t 100% the first time, so requires a re-do to be effective. Once worked for me. TC was pretty easy to get along with, once it papered my file with medical reports from the cardiologist. I maintained my medical throughout. Good luck! Cheers.
  7. EVERYBODY self-isolate yourself in your home for 14 days immediately! No exceptions. Do it today if you haven’t already started! This is not a drill.

  9. Hey Bizzo. Thanks for bringing up this sensitive subject. I am in total agreement with you that there are a few operators out there that are total embarrassments to the industry. They lie, cheat and bully their pilots to just to fill there own pockets and feed their egos. They know who they are. They should be called out if for nothing else but to warn other pilots to do your due diligence before you commit to working for them. Be especially weary of the ones that refuse to sign any form of an employment agreement with you. You will get abused! More details later.
  10. Available immediately for Short Term or Fill In. Currently PPC on single engine Mediums. Packed and ready to go today!
  11. Very risky business. The potential for mast bumping is very high when 200 hundred pounders are jumping off at different times. The next video we'll see will have the maim rotor blades departing the fuselage.
  12. I have to humbly apologize for accepting misinformation and then spreading it. The Campbell 212 pilot lost at Slave Lake now turns out to be a Jean-Luc Deba of Montreal. I guess I should have known better, and I sincerely hope I haven't cause 'Jean Francois Philippe' or his family and friends unnecessary grief.

    Terry Jones

  13. Sorry to be so long replying. My internet was down over the weekend.

Understand the pilot was Jean Francois Philippe. Sad.
