  1. no this is false I run flt duty time on my mac you just have to purchase the microsoft office program for the mac and it works great.
  2. My two cents, it's a small industry and don't burn bridges it could bite you back one day, At least explain to the said company that it wasnt for you and thank them, leave no hard feelings, Not all companies in Canada are bad unlike fifth elemnet implied. If the company wants to be unprofessional about it let them, but you can maintain your professionalism.
  3. VTA, Do you have military expierence? If not that is probably why? They seem to look closer at them. I think the way of thinking comes from a fellow that used to be there. I will not mention his name. Although I would like to.
  4. Calgary Police Service Group 4 Instrument rating 3000hrs min 300 hrs night ATPL-H
  5. NG Limted yes that is hay, 1 ton, I moved 45 ton in 7.0 hours. It was the most fun I have had in along time, just pick your target and try and get your timing right and let it go, 150 feet above the trees and 45 kts. One corner of the net stays attached above the hook on a swivel the other three go in the hook. Its used for erosion control on the slopes of the fire to preserve fish habit for the stream below. As for the Cobras. They are USFS cobras sitting in Helena, Montana. I'm sure we could pic up a few for cheap.
  6. JFK great pics man, looks like you had a good season. I see you met up with the our 205 crew in Yosemite.
  7. HG Limited Looks like your getting some early practice in on those snow landings. Sounds like you and I will be cross shifting this season in CYRV.
  8. Worked beside Lamas alot this summer. Yellowstone National Park operates one for rescue and fires, Great machines, They certainly have some strange things about them. I must say they perform very nicley at altitude, You really notice it at 10,000ft when they work beside you in a 212.
  9. Just curious but the 214 doing the wild flair, that's the second one I saw like that, Im not a production guy just curious why. I have lots of long line time I dont believe I was ever in that much of a hurry to slow down unless a powerline was in front of me. Then again maybe it is an illusion.
  10. Caltow, NMX, I been wandering what happend to that aircraft along with NML the twins. I flew NMX up from Torrance, California when It was brand new it had 3 hours on it total time. How many hours does the girl have on her now? I think I put a 1000 on it.
  11. 1996 Sikinni Chief. Not as good of quality but it is pretty neat how so many poeple can end up with the same picture.
  12. A few from the summer.
  13. What I find works the best is first clean the window of all debris, bugs etc. Then spray 210 on the window and then sprinkle water on top of it. Polish until dry and clean, works for me. Oh gotta run we have a fire.
  14. 212wrench, it was kind of funny on that fire, usually the smoke jumpers put you on the ground while they do there thing, but this time they let me continue bucket operations while they jumped. Yellowstone Jumper 13 and I worked closely together to remain clear so I didnt run over any lawn darts in the air, I even got to fly by the boys as they floated to the ground. It was a good fire. everyone got to rappel and they jumped and I flew my 8 hours. C-FAHL even made it into a few news paper for the rescue we did of 2 elderly people and a family of 4 off the fire that were trapped.
